Out of order until June 2009!

I realized the other night that I just don't have time to keep up with a 2nd BLOG as much as I enjoy it! I know that isn't a very good excuse considering all of us are busy, but trying to keep up at school this time of year, at home with chores, family time and child time there just isn't enough time in the day! I will resume this attempt in June when I start my summer vacation. I have lots of things I want to BLOG about so you will probably get a "book" when I return! Stay tuned and Happy Easter!

How we came to be...

It seems like I have been asked a lot lately how Brian and I came to be. Well, there is no short and sweet story. Brian and I met years ago (like 15) through mutual friends. I use to come home from college (single and wanting to stay single) and each New Years we would party with the same mutual friends. According to Brian there were many times which he asked for my number and was trying to "hit" on me, but between the alcohol and the freedom of enjoying my college years I didn't give it much thought. Supposedly, I would use lines like "I don't have a phone", or "I will give it to you next time I see you", "Can't remember my phone number". And the thing that really torked Brian was I told him to "go pound sand" (that is what he recalls, I don't remember it so much). Years went by and I thought he was the funniest guy but of course "just a friend". I dated his friend and he dated mine and at the same time it was him and I who always hung out and talked for hours about life. He is and was absolutely hysterical and I laughed my way into "falling" into love with him! : -) After about 6 years of telling my parents, Brian is "just a friend", I started realizing that maybe there was more to it. Still not wanting to give up my college LIFE (it was way too much fun!), I just pushed the thoughts back inside my head. Life took its turn one Christmas when he came home from Arizona to visit me and the rest is history. We were married within 9 months and have led a FUN and ADVENTUROUS life as husband and wife for 8 + years. My husband is more than the man I have always dreamt about and he is MORE than I pictured him to be. He is the life of the party when we are out, but when we return home he is the most caring, loving, and positive person I know. Here are some pictures BEFORE we had a child (the "wild" side).

Another BLOG?

I know many of you are wondering (Danielle!ha) how in the heck I have time to do this, create another BLOG. Well, my answer is that I truly enjoy reading all of my friends BLOGS and love the idea of "scrap booking" online. It is so much faster and I can sip my glass of wine and truly unwind from a busy day with little effort just a bunch of babble and a few pics!HA When I started a couple months ago with the family BLOG I quickly realized that it was more than just pictures and updates, but a place to journal about events and happenings going on in the family. SO, with all that being said I have tried several times to attempt a special place of my own to share stories (whether it be from the stand point of a mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend, or teacher). I love the fact that there is NO lesson plan, NO curriculum,NO book, and NO restrictions when journaling about daily things in life that come to mind. So here is my attempt to unlock my diary (you wish!ha) and babble about whatever comes to mind. Yes, it is another "mom" blog with a twist...
